Types of Oracle Error Message.

A typical oracle error message follow the following form.

Prefix-ErrorNumber: Error Text

An example of error message is,
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Here ORA is prefix and error number is 00942 , The error text is "table or view does not exist".
