How to transfer or sell blogger (blogspot) blog to another account

There are several situations in which you want to change the ownership of current blogger account to another blogger account. Some scenarios are,

- You have several email addresses and under different email addresses you have several blogs. For easier maintenance you want to see all blogs under one account so that you can edit/ add new post after login just from one account.

- You like to sell your blog and thus you need to transfer control to the buyer account.

Whatever the scenarios the steps to transfer blog account is discussed below.

Step 01: Sign in to http://www.blogger.com/home, you will see the list of blogs that is owned by you. Click on the settings link of the blog that you want to transfer.

Step 02: In the new window click on Permissions. You will see the list of Authors like the image below.

Step 03: Before transferring your blog you need to first invite him as an author and upon his invitation acceptance you have to make him admin. Click on the 'ADD AUTHORS' button, enter his email address in the textbox and then click Invite.

Step 04: After sending him invitation let him check his email address. He would get an email like below.

And in your blog you will see the status like below,

Step 05: Let him accept the invite , i.e click Contribution link and using a gmail account accept the contribution.

Step 06: Once the invitee confirmed, go to the permissions page once again. Now, you will see an option to grant admin privileges associated with his/her email. Click on the 'grant admin privileges' link and confirm.

Step 07: Now you see in your blog you have two admins. Your task is to click remove link associated your email address. After you remove now your blog will be transferred from your account to your partner's account.

You are done now. You have transferred your blog to another blog account.
